The M2-FVMR Finger Vein Reader is a non-invasive non-contact device that scans under the skin for perfect reading, every time. Skin that is cut, dry, scarred, and other factors can sometimes prevent fingerprint readers from identifying or enrolling a person reliably. The M2-FVMR Vein Reader resolves the issue by passing it through the fingers that are partially absorbed by the hemoglobin in the veins, allowing the recording of an image with a CCD camera. The finger vein reader is extremely robust and surprisingly cheap, making it a viable option for biometric identification projects of any size, in all markets.
